I was admitted via a&he after being brought in by my daughter. I suffer with Crohns disease and have been a regular visitor to Watford. I was treated very quickly and pain meds administered swiftly. Only criticism I would have is why do the staff not just administer everything is...I was vomiting and screaming in agony and they seem to always arrive with oral medication. I just look at them in despair and request iv as its the only thing that works...(still confused why staff offer oral tablets when I'm throwing up for England)...anyway besides that they were lovely. I was moved via aau to flaunden ward. The nurses and staff are amazing on this ward. It is a very high dependant and busy ward, but staff cannot do enough to help. Had a problem with agency staff one night but this was dealt with swiftly by the senior sister on their arrival in the morning. I was a nightmare patient but the staff never treated me any different and I appreciate their care and patience with me...no doubt be back soon... Keep up the good work....sarah
