Best A&E department. Attended on a very busy day but despite full department seen and treated by amazing staff who were efficient and professional (noticed the manager was hands on and helping staff as they seemed short of nurses? You don't see many managers obviously supportive of a team, what a joy to see as a retired nurse perspective!) that has to be mentioned. The consultant was a credit to the medical profession. Caring and explained fully treatment and diagnosis. In times of A&E media constant criticism this department should be an example of how we should be proud and support the NHS. I travelled to the Friarage despite 50 minute journey as it the best hospital locally. Please thank the ward manager and the consultant as they truly are wonderful.
