My original appointment was for 1525 on Sunday 24/5/15. I received a most welcome telephone call at 0930 [approx.] to request my attendance at 1200 if possible, which I readily agreed to. Nice to be called in early [I also joked that I hope I am not going to be waiting until 1530 - ho, ho, ho,]. I asked my wife to start the Sunday Lunch [ I normally cook on Sundays] as I left the house for the 5min journey to FGH at 1135. I arrived at 1140 approx. I sat in a waiting room until 1340 - 2 hours. I was then taken into the consultation room where I waited an additional 20 mins. I got back home at 1410 - my wife thought I was murdered, involved in a road accident, attacked, assaulted, etc, etc. My lunch was ruined. This is not acceptable and I will never ever accept an early appointment ever again. Do not lie to people over the phone. 2 hrs delay on the early appointment is a disgrace. It is not as if the consultant was not there because I saw them nipping between rooms attending to patients. Please, please, please sort this out. As I previously stated I will never attend a requested early appointment ever again.
"Re-assigned waiting times very poor"
