I have care at home as I live on my own. I go to day care 2 days a week but would like to have another day there. I like the company of the clients and coordinators and volunteers at day care as I am on my own at home

It is so nice to know that you value the company of other service users at the day care and you appreciate the support of the day care staff.

You attend two days per week and are on the waiting list for another day, but as I have explained to all our service users waiting on a third day, as we have quite extensive waiting lists, people who already attend two days per week are not given priority at the moment. This is because we have people waiting who do not attend any groups at all, and are housebound all week, so it is only fair to prioritise their referrals before existing service users.

That is not to say that you will never be allocated another day, it's just that currently the waiting lists are long, so it will not happen quickly.

I can assure you that I will continue to keep existing service users who are waiting informed of their status on the list.
