"Wouldn't change a thing"

About: Ayrshire Hospice

(as a service user),

I was diagnosed with stomach cancer and went to the Beatson for chemotherapy and then to the hospice for 2 weeks recuperation. My balance wasn’t good so I came for physiotherapy every day. I now come to the day service every Tuesday for physiotherapy. I couldn’t ask for better treatment, it’s helped my balance greatly. It has improved my lifestyle, I feel better within and it has improved my confidence.

I like the friendliness at the day centre, everyone is very helpful. I like the spirit, people here are never defeated, if something doesn’t work they try something else.

Everything is perfect the way it is, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Good morning

Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback about day services. I was particularly pleased to read that you are feeling better within and that your confidence has improved. Our multidisciplinary approach to care is very important to us, and I'm pleased that the physiotherapist has worked with you to improve your balance.

Thanks for letting us know that you find everyone friendly and helpful – I am amazed and humbled by the spirit too! I am going to share this feedback with the staff and I know they’ll be delighted with it.

Please do keep telling us how we are doing as we are always keen to learn and improve.

Kind regards

Shona
