"Care in A & E and Coronary Care and Cardiac Ward"

I was admitted to the RUH A & E Dept on 24th April 2015 with a heart attack. The immediate action taken by all members of the A & E staff was exemplary and saved my life. The staff treated me and my wife with care and compassion at a very difficult time. I am truly grateful. I was transferred to the Coronary Care Unit and Cardiac Ward where the care continued to the same high standard with the staff being helpful, friendly, compassionate and positive. I have always admired the work and dedication of hospital staff and length of time they are on duty providing constant care. My visit reinforced this view and although stretched to the limit everyone was a credit to the medical profession.
