What I liked
Excellent expertise of consultants who operated on my husband at a very traumatic time. Thorough pre op tests which were explained fully to my husband.
What could be improved
Cleanliness of ward. The standards drop when Matron is not around and at weekends. Cleaning staff are unapproachable (with the exception of a few) and can be rude or abrupt and never welcoming.
Anything else?
Even though there needs to be improvements to ward cleanliness and shared spaces like stairways and corridors the expertise of the qualified staff (nurses, doctors and consultants), this is the best hospital in London for the treatment and my husband could have possibly received and is still under going at the moment.
