"Rectocele"

I was assigned to have my operation at The Day Unit ., originally as I live in Gosport this seemed a bit of a problem. Now I see it as a blessing ! The day surgery unit staff are wonderful . I was made to feel very reassured about the whole procedure. After the procedure which was only in total from going under to recovery was two hours approx. I was transferred to Bramshaw Unit. There I was given the best attention possible, kindness and consideration were top of the list. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff. Everyone introduced themselves by name when the shift changed , so you knew who to refer to if needed. I actually wouldn't have minded staying a bit longer !! 24 hours and I was home to start my recovery. I have very little discomfort and as yet no pain .
