"Brilliant Broomfield"

About: Broomfield Hospital

I am being treated for terminal Crohns disease at Broomfield, it was suggested that I try a different drug to treat the disease and also wean me off steroids, after taking the drug for three days I became violently ill with terrible stomach pains and suffered an intestinal blockage, put up with that for four days before phoning the Crohns nurse who told me to go as immediately as possible to A&E, on arriving and after a bit of a wait I was admitted to the A&E ward, the following day I was moved to Danbury ward where treatment continued, I was released on the Saturday after 3 days 2 nights, all the way through every one of the doctors and nursing staff were professional and very caring, words cannot express how grateful I feel to all these lovely people for looking after me so kindly, many thanks.

Thank you, I have passed the feedback to Ward Sister to share with her team.
