"Disappointed"

About: Wharfedale Hospital

I have a foot injury with an infection and possible stress fracture and find it very painful to walk! So after a week of struggling I finally managed to get someone to give me a lift to the minor injuries unit, only to be told by the admin staff that if my foot wasn't actually broken I couldn't have any crutches! Steve Horwood.

Dear Steve Horwood,

Thank you for taking the time to write to us, I was very sorry to read of the poor experience that you have had, unfortunately it is not ourselves who manage the minor injuries unit at Wharfedale and therefore we are limited as to what help I could offer you. I would advise you to contact the Local Care Direct who would be able to help you with this matter.

You can contact the Local Care Direct on 0113 2206596 or alternatively you can visit their website at www.localcaredirect.org.

I would like to apologise that we could not be of any more help and wish you well for the future.

With kind regards

Rosie
