I was pregnant with my little girl and received twice weekly monitoring in the Early Assement Unit. I can not fault the staff that treated me including the Health Care Assistants. They really put my mind at ease and looked after me well. I felt like I had moved in there as I spent many months with being assessed . When it finally came to being induced I found that some of the midwives that looked after me before was now moved to the maternity ward and was now looking after me. They made it so nice for me as this was my first! I can not fault the hospital with the cleanliness and the fantastic staff they have. The only thing I would say is it does need modernising!

We are really pleased that your experience was positive whilst visiting the Early Pregnancy Assessment and Fetal Health Unit. Currently we are in the process of improving the assessment area with additions of hot drinks facilities and a water cooler. The counselling room has undergone refurbishment alongside several of the scan rooms and there are long term plans to continue updating the waiting area environment.
