The staff at the Early pregnancy unit are excellent and treated me with kindness and respect after my last recurrent miscarriage 6 weeks ago. The surgeons were happy to send the 'tissue' away for testing and told me to expect results within 4 weeks. Having suffered emotionally and physically I was gobsmacked to find out that I cannot get my results until the consultant makes an appointment with me - I even chased the lab which was suggested by my doctor and they said the results had been back for a while. I actually went to the hospital today as I was getting no answers and was told the consultant is very busy and no appointment has been scheduled yet. I should receive this in 6 weeks making it 12 weeks from my ERPC just to get an appointment let alone get an answer. I was made to feel as though the care was only offered when I was pregnant and I am expected to just get over it and work to their timescales. There is no aftercare whatsoever and the compassion at the start jas evaporated. It's disgusting to make a woman who's lost her baby wait so long.
