What I liked
Most of the nurses were absolutely excellent - friendly and kind, as well as competent. The same applied to all the doctors. I was looked after extremely well - thank you.
The first ward I was on (Edgar Horne) was significantly less pleasant (in terms of cleanliness, staff and general atmosphere) than the second (St Mary Abbotts) - I wonder why?
What could be improved
The food is still pretty dreadful - I don't know how it can still be so bad. Still, if you know what to order you're ok. Would be nice if more thought could be given to this, though. And it would be nice to have slightly later visiting hours, given the fact that friends and family with jobs could only visit between 7-8pm, more-or-less.
Anything else?
This is a great hospital - it would be nice if they could just focus on improving the food and perhaps working more closely to improve care on the wards that need it (like Edgar Horne) - other wards show how good the hospital can be.
"Most of the nurses were absolutely ..."
