"Excellent care and compassion"

About: Burnley General Hospital / Breast surgery

(as the patient),

I experienced excellent first class care from my breast consultant and her team. Jackie my key Nurse, at a very distressing time. I was made to feel less anxious and felt supported.

I had surgery everything was explained to me and all my questions answered. I felt I was given plenty of time to address any concerns prior and after surgery. I would like to say a special thank-you to a nurse who works in the breast clinic and always appears to be on shift when I attend appointments for all her kindness and support during this time. Kathryn displays empathy, compassion and always make time to ask how I am. Kathryn always has a smile.

Thank-you to the nurses on the breast care ward especially staff Nurse Laura for all her kind and compassionate support nothing was too much trouble.

All the nurses on the ward were lovely and kind. The cleaners were kind and took time to speak to me and they were very helpful

Once again thank-you to all. Will see you all again in the future.
