"All the stars above are for the hospital staff"

About: Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

I am writing this only for the wonderful caring ambulance person that came out to see me when i was having a severe gallbladder attack. They arrived in a ambulance car as the big ambulance was with another patient. They were so lovely and tried to calm me down and get me focused on my breathing while putting an IV in my arm. I cannot thank them enough for staying with me at my home and helping me until the ambulance arrived to take me to A&E. On the other side of things which relate to my stars given, once i arrived at A&E i was put into a side room by the nurses/doctors station and a nurse (i think) came into take a full blood test from me and then left. I was told by the nice ambulance person who stayed with me at my home until i could get taken to hospital aswel as the other 2 big ambulance people that came to take me to hospital that they would scan me in a&e. This was not the case when i finally saw a doctor, they told me that i could get up and go now and i needed to get my drs to refer me for an ultrasound as they weren't doing it. I would also like to state that all i had was the pajamas i was wearing & my soft sole slippers i had on my feet, no coat, no shoes and it was 4.30am, cold & pouring outside. The doctor never asked me if i had a coat or an umbrella or even if i had anyway of getting home, with knowing that i arrived in an ambulance. It was "Get up, you can go now, bye". Absolutely disgusting and appalling service & they weren't even busy. It was so quiet u could hear a pin drop. No manners nothing
