"Outstanding care"

About: Chorley & South Ribble Hospital

My father was recently in the Dementia unit, Rookwood A, at Chorley Hospital. Its not easy caring for elderly, vulnerable and confused people at the end of their life. However, all the staff showed genuine compassion, endless patience and care. They were also very supportive to my mother and our family during this very difficult time. We cannot thank them enough.

The Trust has, over the past 2 years undertaken a significant amount of work to enhance the care of patients with dementia and it is extremely pleasing to read comments such as yours, which ensdorse the fact that that work is reflected in the care provided to our patients. Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. A tremendous amount of work has taken place over the past two years to enhance the care of patients with dementia and it is extremely pleasing to hear that was reflected in the care provided to your father.
