Rangeye clinic, told go to a&e , waited 2hours saw er, who said i should go to eye clinic, waird 2 hours didnt see a dr , just very hard, so have to go back and see what happens... If, when we first arrived at the clinic we had been told, honestly, If, when we first arrived at the clinic we had been told, honestly, that the wait would be at least 4 hours we would probably have decided to leave, not clogged up the queue (can't clog up the waiting room as it is far too big, and that is an indication of the problems this department has). If, when we went to A&E they had done as we were told in the first place and referred us direct to the Eye Clinic from triage we could probably have got onto the end of the morning clinic, been seen by an experienced ophthalmic specialist, and left with an idea of what to do, if we needed to do anything at all.
