What I liked

A listening ear which led to top class care treatment and guidance from the RLHH ; this has transformed my life.

Now I have the confidence to eat, do, and enjoy life in a way I have never been able to since childhood having suffered 'bilious attacks' now known as migraines which had developed into major severe episodes lasted for at least 3 days so severe the slightest movment while lyng in a darkened room would exasserbate the head pain. only to go into the next migraine a few days later.

After contracting an infection thought to be Lyme Disease which led on to chronic fatigue syndrome I felt that recovery was not on the horison; eventually my GP listened and at my request referred me to the RLHH who identified symptoms of other conditions including allergic reactions to masses of food types, petrol fumes the list was endless; treatment and recovery has been slow but very steady after 3 months off work. Now I not only work, sail, garden and produce most of the vegetables and fruit; can enjoy holidays home and abroad without the severe symptoms from of old.

What could be improved

My NHS GP had to get permission from the PCT to referr me for treatment?

Gp's need to be made aware of the binifits of this line of treatment - it is most definitely not 'in the mind' as I so frequently hear at work - I am a nurse in GP practice.

Homeopathy should be part of all doctors training and especially GP's should attend a set number of hours in homeopathic areas to observe what is hapening outside 'their' prescription box. GP's are not allowed to suggest to patients that homeopathy might be helpful;

As a practive nurse I see many many patients who would benifit from good homeopathic care - not allowed to mention it - practice policy??!!!!!

It Stinks and makes me very mad at the igorance of many GP's who refuse to keep an open mind. It is not part of their training so ignorance will remain untill it is.
