I am so pleased, that I chose to have my referral apt at George Eliot Hospital! I attended the ENT clinic today and from the team that I checked in with at general out appointments, the nurse that under took my hearing test, and the team that support the consultant, all were friendly and professional. I came away feeling that I had been listened too, and that all required tests were made, and that an action plan of treatment was put in place and all fully explained. This was 6 months after I had been referred to another hospital had a 30 second consultation, to be told there was nothing wrong and sent away since, this time I have had a further 7 course of antibiotics and considerable pain. I felt that as we often hear negative comments about the NHS I should share my good experience Although strange to say regarding treatment of a medical kind, I am looking forward to my return in a month’s time.
