"Waited 8 months, still waiting."

Since visiting in October, I was told I would be seen in 2 months time. Since then I have very regularly contacted gynecology appointments to find out if i have been given an appointment, every time to be told that I don't, they have no clinic times and they have no idea when I will be seen. I have also asked to see a different doctor so that I do not have to wait as long, however have been told this is not possible due to attending a specialist clinic.
