About: Good Hope Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I attend an appointment today at Good Hope Hospital treatment centre for an ultrasound scan and transvaginal scan, which to me was very embarrassing.

However the helper put me at ease within a few minutes and the sonographer was very gentle and kind.

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback regarding your recent experience at Good Hope Hospital.

A transvaginal scan is quite intrusive and understandably you were embarrassed.

Our staff are empathetic and appreciate that it is difficult for our patients, and I am pleased that you were made to feel at ease, and that the sonographer was gentle and kind.

I will pass along your comments radiology and gynaecology team at Good Hope Hospital, who will ensure that the team are made aware of your feedback and I am sure they will be thrilled.
