My mother in law was in ward 24 for most of April and early May 2015 for what turned out to be end of life care. The medical staff were superb - caring but realistic, compassionate and honest. The housekeeping staff were also excellent in making us feel welcome, and in giving friendly support, during frequently very long visits. The hospital was exemplary.

Firstly, Sorry for your loss on behalf of everyone at QE Gateshead. Thank you for choosing to pass on your feedback at what must a difficult time for you and your family. We will make sure the staff on that ward hear your comments, so thanks again for taking the time to post them.
