"A&E are useless"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

My Partner was taken in to A&E on the evening of 8th may with pain in his lower back abdomen was given blood tests and left in a cubicle his pain subsided by itself after 1hr so they decided to do no more test or investigations to find out the reason for the pain and at midnight i got a phone saying he discharged i had to arrange for him to get home at that time of night as i don't drive coat £42 and 2 days later he ended up in Staford county hospital they were better did tests and gave painkillers turns out he had a large kidney stone this was found by ct which Burton could have arranged 2 days before only problem is Stafford does not deal with urology anymore and we live 27 miles from it and yet Burton only 12 miles and have urology department could not identify problem Doctor were very dismissive when his pain sudsided not bothering to care why it came in the first place and kicking him out at that time of night absolutely disgrace full i remember when this hospital was reliable
