"Hysterectomy"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - City Campus

I had my hysterectomy 4th feb 2015, from the minute I stepped foot into the hospital everyone made me feel at ease. The staff on loxley ward were fantastic and did not stop from the second they got there until they left, all the nurses were considerate and caring and always had time for you. I did give one member of staff a bit of a time due to my fainting a couple of times but again they were great and very patient with me as were all nurses and staff. I felt very well cared for despite the fact that they were clearly run off their feet !! So I thank you for the brilliant work all the staff at the city hospital do, a perfect example of what makes the NHS something to be proud of.

Thank you so much for taking the time to recognise the excellent care and compassion shown by our staff on Loxley Ward. We have shared your kind words with the team.

It may be of interest to you that our staff awards open to nominations early June. If you wanted to put forward Loxley staff for an award, you can do so at: www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours (Loxley falls under the Family Health category).
