I had my operation in January, 2015 at the Fitzwilliam Hospital. I was in for 3 nights and found the whole experience to be really excellent. I admit I was really scared about having the procedure done, but the whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. All the staff were wonderful and made me feel relaxed throughout the whole procedure. I was really pleased at how quiet the hospital was during the night, although staff were coming around at intervals to check on patients. It was the first time in my life I slept well at night during a stay in hospital. The food always looked good and tasted lovely, I really enjoyed it. My operation went really well and apart from taking paracetamol for the first few days I did not require any other pain control. I felt well upon coming round from the procedure and I did not feel sick in anyway, in fact I was really hungry and the staff soon got me some sandwhiches. I would recommend the Fitzwilliam Hospital at Peterborough to anyone and I would rate my whole experience as excellent.
