Treatment received by all staff from start to finish was excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Great attention to detail was given ensuring that the operation was carried out on the correct eye. The surgeon in my opinion, was first class. The procedure was painless and did not take as long as I expected. With all the bad press hospitals get I can only say that the eye department at Pontefract deserves praise and not criticism.
