I gave birth to my daughter on the 9th May 2015 and just wanted to say what a fantastic experience I had thanks to the labour ward and my midwife. I had a very speedy labour and was discharged after six hours. Throughout my labour I was barley left and I was felt at ease for the duration. I gave birth to my son at bishop Auckland hospital in 2012 and was a bit apprehensive about going to Durham but I need not have worried as it was excellent and would recommend it to anyone. During my pregnancy I had one little hiccup where I had to visit the pregnancy assessment unit. Again the service I received was second to non, had speedy tests and left feel reassured everything was ok. Staff could not have been more helpful.
