"A lump described as a rib"

It began with continuous administrative disasters turning up to appointments to have a breast ultrasound, and not having them. On the fourth visit in August last year I had the ultrasound. The member of staff doing the ultrasound seemed fine, but not engaged with me. As they were doing the scan, I asked them to look at a lump under my left breast, on the chest. Without looking the member of staff told me it was a rib. Knowing basic anatomy I disagreed, which was then disregarded it as fat. 9 months down the track I have been badgering doctors to take it out. The thing is now 4X3cm dimpled, red and causing me pain. I have had cancer twice and I'm 30, so I'd expect a little concern for random lumps appearing. I don't even think the lump was documented during my visit. Really disappointed with all aspects, doctors, the extended waiting time sitting in cramped waiting rooms (2hrs each time for the breast clinic) and the radiography team.
