Gp wanted to see me in diabetic clinic early September, I was given appointment for 23 September, this clashed with a hospital appointment, the hospital couldn't change it for another 3 months so I asked the surgery for an appointment later in the day. All they offered was 21 October. Is this a record for GP wait times? The usual wait is over 4 weeks, by which time I've forgotten why I made it. If I need to see GP urgently I queue up at 7am and am sometimes lucky to get appointment. If not I am told to try again tomorrow. I will do this in early September so I can see GP. I am really struggling with the diabetes, I don't really know why I must see him as he usually tells me I am going to die at any minute!
