Early menopause

(as the patient),

I've been diagnosed with early menopause at age of 35. my Gp refereed my to the gynecology but still no appointment.

Im planned having a 2nd baby but nobody can tell me anything. The only thing they saying oh you are on early menopause. Nobody explained what will happening do I have a chance to get pregnant or have to give up the hope.

Really stressful when you just wait and wait and you running out of time because I have to wait for an appointment for months and months.

Dear patient

I am sorry to hear of your distressing diagnosis. This must be having an impact on your physical and emotional health. I would suggest that you go back to your GP in the first instance to seek clarity about your future opportunities to have a baby. You should also ask if your referral to the gynaecologist was marked as urgent or routine.

As it is Friday now I cannot contact anyone but I will make some enquiries on your behalf on Monday. I will post any information I find out on this website.

Hi Linda.

I contacted with gynecology on last week because I won't be available from 12th July to 7th August. The email came back which said my appointment on in July at the woman day clinic which was made in June and the appointment letter has been sent out so I will get it on the next couple days.Still no letter came so I contacted again to confirm my appointment. They said no appointment made for me so they cancelled my appointment and gave it to someone.i'm waiting now nearly 3 months and nothing.
