"The very first smile!"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I have been under this hospital for several years and it has now become a standing joke with my husband, will a member of staff actually smile in cardiology. I wonder if they realise how much it puts you at ease.

Today, having made my usual bet, I was SO pleased to be treated in CRI by Lesley. As I told her, I don't do flannel but she was so relaxing to be with and genuine. A credit to the profession. Some of the receptionists and other staff should take note. We are individuals not numbers! ! !
