"Near death experience"

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

My sister aged almost ninety was rushed into the hospital on 15th January with multiple problems. She was admitted to Gissing Ward where, throughout her stay of five weeks, she received professional, kind and compassionate care. Twice she approached death, but recovered. I found the ward always spotless with very kind and efficient staff at times.. The catering service was excellent, not that she was able to eat much at all. Following a further period of rehabilitation she is now in excellent residential care and enjoying life again thanks to Gissing Ward. Thanks also to all the main switchboard staff for their patience and help on so many difficult occasions.
