"Unhelpful Haematology appointment"

About: Salisbury District Hospital

Drove a long way for my appointment with a haematologist today. I have been very unwell for many years and thought I was finally going to get to the bottom of it. My doctor obviously thought I'd suffered enough over the years to decide to send me to a professional. The haematologist I saw didn't listen to a word I said, made no notes and I think they pretty much made their mind up that nothing was wrong with me before I walked in. It was an absolute waste of my time. Even worse I'm still no closer to finding out why I feel so ill. Discharged within 10 minutes. In fact I spent longer in the cafe than I did in their office. Absolute disgrace

We are very sorry that you have had a poor experience and we would like to look into the issues you have raised more carefully. Please could you get in touch with our Haematology Department directly on 01722 336262, extension 4043, so that we can talk to you about what has happened. Thank you.
