"Can't even make an appointment, after trying for 3..."

About: Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital

I've tried for the last 3 weeks to get an appointment at this hospital with the family planning dept. 1) I'm told I can only call after 3pm on Mondays and after 2h30 on Tues by switchboard- for the last 3 weeks have stuck to this recommendation with no success ..... they don't pick up the phone. 2) Then on week 3 I was told they are open till 7pm and can call to make an appointment till that time, waited 15min for someone to pick up the phone in the dept ..... still no answer. This is appalling service! and guess what .... still waiting to get an appointment.

Hello, We are really sorry to hear that you have had problems making an appointment at Sittingbourne Sexual Health Clinic. The Sexual Health Service provided by Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust runs on a Monday and Tuesday. We do have a central information line which you can call and make an appointment to be seen which is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. The number is 0300 790 0245. We have contacted the hospital switchboard and made sure that they have this information in case anyone rings to make an appointment at the sexual health clinic.
