What I liked
The nurses were friendly and caring. Had a nice room to myself, nice and clean.
What could be improved
Lack of information about my care.
Each time I asked what was happening, nobody knew anything, or could be bothered to check for me, this went on beyond the operation - even to the next day when I was waiting for the doctor to discharge me. I was given more useful information from the nurse than the doctor, who seemed so disinterested in the whole process.
Anything else?
I went in for an operation, but due to A&E patients this was cancelled, and done 24 hours later. Hence I was made to strave and not allowed water for 8 and 10 hours!! Ended up dehydrated and very upset. It is not right to treat patients this way, I could have been given water, but instead was put on a drip.
