I was taken to A & E by ambulance following a fall. The ambulance staff were very professional and caring. I had fractured my femur. I was admitted to Rowan Ward, had surgery the next day, then admitted to Cherry Ward. The food on both wards was of a very high standard also the cleanliness and all staff on both wards from the cleaners, tea ladies, nurses and surgical team were absolutely excellent. On being discharged the bridging team came. In for four days once again staff were excellent. I had hydrotherapy and physiotherapy which were very beneficial. I attended the fracture clinic, had many X-Rays, once again very professional and caring staff. The Consultant discharged me at the end of March. I have nothing but praise for Darent Hospital. A big thank you and we'll done.
