Some staff seemed very overworked in this very busy hospital - to the extent that the quality of their work suffered. Bad infection control procedures were observed (particularly in bed changing procedures). Discharge arrangements were chaotic, with no understanding of the logistical problems of getting me home.

Thank you taking the time to write a post for your time in the Cumberland Infirmary. I am sorry your experience was not as you wanted it to be. We would like to investigate the issues you've raised especialy in relation to the infection control procedures you mention. I would therefore be grateful if you will supply some more information including the ward you are referring to so the Trust can investigate and improve the experience of future patients.
