Fielding Palmer hospital has just looked after an enderly palliative friend of mine. He was there for about 8 weeks. He has now been discharged to a nursing home. I think the hospital is great, the staff are so caring, kind and supportive, they are very busy but nothing is too much trouble. They made my friend feel relaxed and gave him choices, he liked his own company, they spoke to him in a lovely way making him comfy. I have met most of the staff over these weeks, they work hard but put the patients at the forefront, understanding ttem and what they need. They always find time to make him smile, this meant so much to me and him. They were great with me too, keeping me up to date as I'm his next of kin as he doesn't have any family. Big thank you to all the staff at Feilding Palmer! Jackie
