"Eye Casualty provided excellent care"

I was extremely impressed by the service and care I received during my recent visit to eye casualty. The member of staff on reception who took my original call, the nurse who assessed me and the doctor who treated me were all friendly, caring and professional. Although the department is clearly in need of refurbishment everything was still extremely clean and there was lots of relevant information displayed on the walls. I was fortunate in that the dept was empty so I was in and out within 15 minutes but even if I had had to wait at least I knew I was in good hands. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.

Thank you for positive comments - we will pass them on to the whole team. With regards to the refurbishment of the Eye Casualty, the department is currently working with the Trust Estates Strategy Group on relocating the unit to a purpose-build casualty building so hopefully the environment will reflect the high standard of care we strive to achieve.
