About: Royal Hampshire County Hospital

My mother was recently a patient on Fresh field ward. While her care was average the cleanliness of the ward was awful. On a number of occasions when I visited there was food on the floor, dust underneath the beds and filthy toilets. The cleaner seemed to spend most of their days sat on the patients beds chatting about a pet and child rather then what they were employed to do. And on a number of occasions men where openly allowed to wander into ladies rooms.
