"Tissue viability unit administration is appalling."

About: Brentwood Community Hospital

I need some work done on my leg and was referred to the tissue viability unit at BCH. At the initial assessment I was told I would receive the appointment letters within a few days. When, after a fortnight, I had not received anything I rang them and left a message. They did not return my phone call but lo and behold two days later the letters arrived. So on Wednesday I arrived for the first of my appointments only to be told by the specialist that they couldn't do the work because the administrator had not booked a clinical room and there were none available. So I turned up today for the second appointment at 10am, as stated on the letter, only to be told it had been moved to 3pm. They hadn't actually told me this of course. This is all the fault of one person, who on this evidence clearly isn't fit to do the job.
