"A&E"

About: Darent Valley Hospital

I am very disappointed with the lack of care I received while I have been in a&e. My doctor told me to go to a&e after suffering with really bad abdominal pains (ongoing for 6months) but the pain had come unbearable. Doctors took blood and did urine test which came back okay. After sitting in a&e for nearly 6 hours and in so much pain, they finally gave me some pain relief. (I was on codeine for the pain at home however it didn't touch it) They gave me a prescription for codeine even though I explained that it doesn't work for me and sent me home in worse pain than I was before.
