"RHH Day Case"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

My Dad went in to the Day Surgery Unit procedure on 5th May after being off work with the condition for 6 months and a stressful time for all the family. He were booked in straight away by polite reception staff, taken through to the same sex ward within 5 minutes and from then on tells me that the staff were an absolute credit to the NHS - especially the nurse who looked after him who was 'faultless'. Despite being told there could be a wait (which would have been fine) he was back home with us by 11am. Thank you so much for the kindness and care showed and it is a weight off our minds that he would be in good hands if he were to need to go back again. You are all a credit to the NHS which people are too quick to complain about!

Thank you so much, Sarah, for taking the time to give us such lovely feedback about the care your dad received in our Day Surgery Unit. It is very reassuring to hear that you were impressed with your father’s care and that this helped to make a worrying time more positive for both you and your dad. We are always delighted to receive positive comments from patients and relatives as it is a real boost for our staff who work so hard to provide the best possible care to our patients. We have passed your kind comments on to the team in Day Surgery and would like to wish your father all the best for the future.
