"I have attended FPH on three occasions ..."

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

(as the patient),

What could be improved

I have attended FPH on three occasions in the last couple of months. All have been bad experiences. During the first visit (for a procedure) the doctor disappeared and no one knew where he had gone. I had to wait for 20 minutes by myself behind a curtain, gradually getting more and more anxious, until he turned up. When I was taken through neither the nurse or the doctor acknowledged me and carried on talking about me asthough I was not there. The second time (for another procedure) the consultant seemed only interested in me signing the consent form and told me that he would talk to me afterwards. Apparently he did talk to me but as I was still under the influence of the sedatives I have no recollection of this. The third time (to receive a diagnosis and first consultation with specialist) I was seen 1 hour late. The appointment only lasted 5 minutes and during this time I was told that I have a lifelong chronic condition requiring daily medication (I am only in my late twenties) before being hurried out the door because the doctor was running late. I feel let down by the hospital and am most likely going to transfer my care to the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
