"Basically called me a lire in the short stay..."

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital

I arrived at the shot stay surgery for before my appointment by bus I had arranged for a friend to pick me up after the surgery but that had fell thru while I was under for my op I informed the nurses in the ward and they basically said that I knew this was going to happen and calling me a lyre in not so manny words and called nsl they come back to me and said that I was not elegible for transport as I did not have a medical nessesity for them to take me home I further explained that there was no one available to pick me up I said I would be ok to go back home on the bus but they would not allow this so they tried nsl again and managed to sit transport well done on that point to them. The NYSE that spoke to me about it was talking to me with a horrible attitude like it was all my fault and made me feel really uncomfortable. If there is ever a next time I have to have an op I will not be going here.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience of the short stay surgical ward. We were very sorry to learn that the standard of service has fallen short of your expectations, in particular, that the clinic staff appeared to have doubted your word. If you would like us to look into these issues further, please contact the PALS office at mtw-tr.palsoffice@nhs.net. Kind regards, The PALS Team.
