"I was an outpatient receiving ..."

About: Frimley Park Hospital (Frimley)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was an outpatient receiving weekly physiotherapy - the majority of the physio staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful.

What could be improved

Whilst I appreciate that there was building work going on next door, the Physio department is dark, dank, and not very clean. The toilets were horrible - cramped and dirty, and not enough of them when people were being directed to use them from the main hospital building, when the ones there were being cleaned. The builders coming and going would not move out of the way either inside or outside of the building, and instead would stand there chatting or even smoking, and expect you to walk round them, even though it was obvious that walking was difficult for me.

Anything else?

The little group of staff that collect along the Portsmouth Road to smoke just by the non-smoking banner, do nothing for the image of the hospital. It would be better for FPH, to reinstate the old smoking room. They look so unprofessional.
