"experience in A and E"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I got taken to A and E in Lincolnshire by the ambulance after collapsing in tremendous amounts of pain.

For years I've had stomach pains but the doctors have never gotten to the bottom of it fully however these pains were excruciating and I really couldn't cope this time. I had a few drinks but no where near was I drunk.

I went into A and E and was treated like a 'common student' and they told me I should never drink and that I was drunk. This pain wasn't from something caused by alcohol, I knew that myself but the doctors wouldn't listen.

They told me I was potentially pregnant due to my stomach being massive, despite me telling them that half an hour ago I didn't have a stomach like this, and that I was drinking too much alcohol every weekend which is a load of crap as I can't afford to go out every weekend or ever!

I am utterly disappointed with my time there and feel as though they literally just wanted to get me out and treat someone else where as how I am still in tremendous amounts of pain and have had to take days off uni for this pain!

If I can avoid going back, I will
