"Brilliant care on a23"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I cannot fault a23 at all. Have been admitted to the ward and also used the rehydration room both due to hyperemesis and I found the doctors to be really lovely in their approach. Also the nurses always do what they say they will do in a timely way - something that I have found not to be the case elsewhere. They even made dad a cup of tea and provided some cake for him whilst he was waiting for my fluids to go through. The ward was spotless as well. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your experience of QMC’s Ward A23. The hydration suite on the ward is part of our new treatment programme to support women with hyperemesis. It is good news to hear that it is working well for patients. It is also wonderful to read about how well the ward staff treated you and your visitors. We have shared your comments with the team. You may wish to consider nominating the team for one of our staff awards (this would fall under the Family Health Directorate category). Nominations open early June via: www.nuh.nhs.uk/nuhonours
