"Staff were fantastic"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

I went to QA to the day surgery for a "procedure" in the urology department. The staff were very friendly, reasuring and even though you knew they were really busy they didn't make you feel you were being a problem asking questions. I think the problem with QA is it is too big and waiting times are too long. Due to the size of the hospital letters and information get lost and delayed. However, a majority of the staff within the hospital are great and do thier best to care for you with what resources they can.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write to us following your recent procedure. I am so pleased that everything went well and that our staff, through busy times, were able to treat your patient care as the most important thing. I will most certainly pass your kind feedback on to to the appropriate staff for their information, as I am sure they will be just as pleased to read this as I was. I fully acknowledge your comments regarding the size of the hospital and the delays sometimes encountered - but I hope that your reflection of your admission will assure you that our staff strive to acheive the highest level of patient care at all times. With very best wishes Leanne Complaints Officer
