"Dignity in A+E"

About: Royal Lancaster Infirmary

Attended A+E yesterday with my cousin- his mother had suffered a cardiac arrest and was brought to resus. There was no prospect of any recovery- she was allowed to pass away peacefully with him holding her hand. All the staff were excellent. One member of staff was professionalism exemplified. How do you measure quality of care? You can't. Suffice it to say that after my limited contact with the A+E department, I have nothing but praise.
